2 Killed in I-15 Semi Rollover Crash

The Nevada Highway Patrol is trying to determine whether a car stalled or cut in front of a tractor-trailer that plowed into it.

It happened on I-15 near St. Rose Parkway on Monday night.

A man and woman were killed.

Officials said the truck driver claimed he didn’t see the car.

His injuries were minor.

Woman Killed on I-15

A 22-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 15 on Sunday.

Nevada Highway Patrol said the incident took place at 3:41 a.m. and started as a two-car minor injury accident.

When the female drivers of both cars got out of their vehicles in the left lane to talk and assess the damage, they were struck by another vehicle. One driver was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition. She later died of her injuries.

The other driver was transported to UMC with a hip injury.

The driver of the car that hit the women was not injured.

Fatal Auto Accident on I-215

Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers have reopened a stretch of Interstate 215 from this mornings fatal traffic accident that killed a cement truck driver near Jones Boulevard.

NHP said the highway opened back up at 615p.m. after an eight-hour closure.
